Hi Valerio,

I seem to remember seeing this error before but don't have time right
now to look for it.

In the mean time, can you tell me the distribution (and its version)
you use.  The output of

   cat /etc/os-release

would be good enough for me on most Debian-based distributions.

PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid"
NAME="Debian GNU/Linux"
ID=debian
HOME_URL="https://www.debian.org/";
SUPPORT_URL="https://www.debian.org/support";
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.debian.org/";

as you asked

in this moment I am able to scan an image if i cut the power for about half an hour, but not a second one.

thank you
valerio

Hope this helps,
