Maybe there was one official SANE release where it was broken - but I really did not had any problem over the last 1 and 1/2 years with it ... If you have fill a bug report in the bug tracker and assign it to me - or even better CC me in some mail. I have not the time to monitor sane-devel that closely so I might missed some mails ... Can you try the current code in my SVN repository here: http://svn.exactcode.de/sane-avision/trunk/ And tell me if you still have problems?
