According to the info that I got from EPSON the CX6600 has product ID 0x0805. So that's what iscan is using. The epkowa and epson backends don't know any device with product ID 0x0813 so they ignore it (to be on the safe side). You can add usb 0x04b8 0x0813 to your epkowa.conf (or epson.conf) to force the backend to recognise it, but be advised that this is completely untested. See also the comments in epkowa.conf. Mind sending me the output of lsusb -v -d 04b8:0813 off-list.
