Unfortunately, it is impossible. AFL does not allow to move the film by hand. When I try, film slips into the scanner on about 5-7 mm, and then refuses to go deeper. Getting know SANE to be able to develop support for AFL on that device is on my TODO list for at least two years. Unfortunatelly there's always "more important thing to do" :( regards, -- Jaroslaw Gorny -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages). -------------------------- I tried to configure the backend 'plustek.conf' to provide vender ID and product ID. But scanimage is still not working. "scanimage -L" just hangs there and no output. After setting the DEBUG environmental variable, the 'scanimage -L' outputs a message of 'waiting for scanner-ready' and stucks there. Could you please help? Thanks, Xihong
