Short summary: He uses a HP ScanJet 2200C USB scanner with the plustek backend. Scanning via scanimage works well. But scanning via xscanimage/xsane/kooka results the right side be tinted redly, and the left greenly, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=136721&action=view In kooka even the prescan is okay. Does someone have an idea what in xscanimage/xsane/kooka could cause such a difference compared to scanimage?
