In the meantime, I had the chance to test a bit on a Debian x86_64 box (AMD Sempron) and this one had no problems. I've tested with a HP2200c, scanimage and xsane - nothing. I've recompiled the current CVS stuff - no problems so far. I did the tests also with my LiDE20 and LiDE30 - also no problems. Tests have been done with and without the calibration cache.
