Dear Nicolas, I am considering obtaining a Canon PIXMA MX-850, which has an engine identical to the MP610 (and therefore the printer engine is also the same as that of the iP4500) plus fax capability. I suspect therefore that support for scanning will be easy to add in the current code (definitions only). Do you have anybody reporting yet on the MX-850? Regards, Gernot PS this will allow me to replace the MP-710 and iP4500.
