Hi Troels,

I folowed your advice and I tried it with the "remote scanner" scan type on, but unfortunately with the same result. Any other thoughts?

Kind regards,

Did you select "remote scanner" on the front panel of the device?
Otherwise I get the timeouts as well on my mf8230

Hi All,

I am trying to get my Canon i-sensys MF8350cdn scanner working over my
network, but without luck so far. I have also a HP officejet connect to the
network and that is picked up well.
I get the following output when I run scanimage -L in the debugging mode.

~ $ env SANE_DEBUG_BJNP="5" scanimage -L

Does any one have an idea what could be the issue?

Cheers,
