Hi Friends, I read somewhere once " Completed tasks give energy, and Unfinished tasks drain out energy". We all need a lot of energy in our lives. So let`s complete a due task as soon as possible. Let`s work together, Let`s combine the best of what we have done, and Let`s have a new website for Sanskaari. We don`t always need to bury the past to create a new future. Let the past be at its place so that we can learn from our mistakes. This is what I want from this moment. So, let`s learn from our mistakes and create a set of rules for ourselves before we start afresh:-
(1) I personally never liked deadlines in my work, but this time, I want to have one. We have a deadline. Today is 13th october. We have to build a website in 10 days. On 24th of October, we will have a link which will direct us to our website. (2) We will be more connected and expressive about our thoughts and opinions. If anyone has any idea regarding the website work, he should (no, actually he must) come up with it. Leena ji, as you said, if we combine our work, it will be the best things coming together in our website. So let`s have a discussion regarding this before we carry out the actual implementation. (3) We will not be satisfied with anything except the best one. (4) There will be regular updates about the progress of the work. It may be expressed in the form of discussions or even in form of a report. Till now, I could think of only these rules. If anyone can think of anything else, then it will be great. One more point I would like to add is that we will have a lot of discussions during the building of this website for next 10 days. So, in order to avoid flooding this group with Sanskaari website related posts, I have created a new group. Anyone from Sanskaari can join this group and take part in discussions regarding the website. The link of our group is [EMAIL PROTECTED] My idea is to create a separate topic for each page on this group and have discussions and updates regarding that page. By doing this, we can reach a stage within 4-5 days where we will have all the set of pages ready to be implemented in the form of actual website. *How others can help us:- * - Anyone in Sanskaari can come up with idea regarding the content. To create the content, we don`t need a technical knowledge. We just need to know what we want to see in the page that we will visit. It can be done by any member and posted on the new group for the website. I will mail the overall page-structure of the website on the Sanskaari-website group very soon. - My idea is that we should have more photos in our website than the content, because that would be a better way to express what Sanskaari is all about. I have selected a few pics for the general purpose (after looking at pics from all projects). We can have 5-8 best pics for each project individually and place it on the page dedicated to that project. So team members can sort the pics from their projects and select the best ones from them, which they would like to see on that page dedicated to their project. >From now on, most of the posts related to Sanskaari website will be posted on the other group. Any suggestions and feedback will be welcome.
