They all seem to belong to the same chhandas.

Please clarify: What pratyaya does the final -i come
from?
The usual expectation in such situations is the
following :
The pANinIya sUtra 3.2.78
supyajAtau NinistAchchhIlye |
"A dhAtu to be joined to a conjugated 'noun' gets the
Nini pratyaya if it refers to someone who habitually
performs that action, except if it is the name of a
class."
(Nini would not be allowed to create a general term
for all persons who habitually sleep on snakes; only
for a specific one, say vishhNu, who sleeps on a
snake.)
The detailed etymology (with pratyaya and related
changes follows:
(1) nAgAnA.m bhUshhaNam = nAgabhUshhaNam (tatpurushha
samAsa from pA sU 2.2.8 "shhashhThI")
(2)nAgabhUshhaNe shete iti saH (pA sU 3.2.78 above,
tAchchhIlye Nini)
= he sleeps on the nAgabhUshhaNa (that is his habit)
The kR^idanta pratyaya Nini : 'N' causing vR^iddhi in
the dhAtu, the final 'i' is for pronunciation.
(3) nAgabhUshhaNe shI(the dhAtu)+Nini
= nAgabhUshhaNa+shai(vR^iddhi caused by 'N')+ in
(vR^iddhi caused by 'N', pA sU 7.2.115 acho JNNiti |)
= nAgabhUshhaNe shAyin = nAgabhUshhaNashAyin
( sandhi using pA sU 6.1.78 echo.ayavAyAvaH |
Compulsory tatpurushha samAsa by pA sU 2.2.19
upapadamatiN^ |)
(has to be conjugated as nAgabhUshhaNashAyI,
nAgabhUshhaNashAyinau, etc. , by context)
I could not find a similar possibility for the -i
ending.

It seems to be
ya ma na sa bha la ga
2. But the last syllable in pAdams 2, 3 and 4 is a laghu (guru in pAdam 1)
Is it left unspecified?
3. Also, I can see a Sikhara-like formation in the mAtra counts:

This anvya kramam is done nowadays or
Sri Santurkar gave it, by way of ellipting eSa and
retaining cha-s.
suggestion subject to posibility:
Would you mind to take some more pain to include
SrI Vikrama Santurkar's Sanskrit order and wording
in pratipadaartha; using double = = something like -
eShaH= iyam = this one;narAdhamaH=naraNaam
athamh= nean fellow; etc, as you have
once done to some verses. Do this only if your time
and energy permit, then it will be a great recording
of an otherwise unavailable work.
The positioning of 'hi' in anvaya seems to be irksome
It may be - eShaH na sthAsyati, hi; or adharmaGYaH
hataH, hi - this indeed - for us comes last. Stress
on a definite statement - pl check up.

It is sama vR^ittaH, and aksharamela, regulated by the number of syllables
(here, 17).

of imagination run amuck, listen to a musician who has forced an aksharamela
type into a maatraamela one, just so that he can set it to some taal. I have
heard even the giitaa verses so cruelly treated.
