In the AryabhaTIya - bhAshhya of bhAskara the First, there are
example problems given which have many compounds with several numerals. Here
are two:

uddeshakaH

verse 16)

Give out the hypotenuses (for three right - angled triangles) where
the bases and the uprights are 3 and 4, 6 and 8, and 12 and 9 (units)
respectively.( The so - called Pythagorean Theorem)

                         uddeshakaH

verse 11)

Calculate and tell me the diameters of the circles whose peripheries
are 3299 minus 8/25 and 21,600, respectively.( Diameter of a circle from the
circumference)

The question is, are these compounds to be regarded as dvigu - samAsas or
samAhAra dvandvas?
