Is the consonant "La" as used in "Agni MeeLe" in Rigveda Mandala 1, part of the list of alphabets? In my experience of learning sanskrit at school, I have not seen "La" be a part of the alphabets. It is a part of Marathi alphabets. Thanks, Srikanth ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Mon, 30 May 2005 10:33:15 EDT From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Sanskrit] question about alphabet "La" To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], sanskrit@cs.utah.edu Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I think "La" is considered as a semi vowel but not as a consonant but i may be wrong -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
