thanks a lot for your responses. i fixed the problems
and now the "skt" package is working fine.
to ravi parimi: i think it would be an excellent idea
if you can post your reply on the web and link it with
the ctan archives where the skt package is available
so that those who want to install this in the future
may not have any problems.

Can someone formalize the construction of the interrogative sentence
in Sanskrit when none of the question words (kaH, kA, kim, kutra, etc.)
are used? An example in English would be "Are you going there?"
I have seen different ways of doing this, and some look more natural
than others, but I would appreciate someone formally trained in syntax
to give me guidelines.

Can anyone recommend good sources, either in published books or on websites,
for some of the main puja ceremonies like the kali puja, durga puja, siva
puja, ganesha puja, etc. I would like to find sources that provide the
sanskrit, transliteration and English translation all on the same page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Kanatkanakabhuushha
Kanat + golden ornament. What does kanat mean? I haven't found it in the
Williams or Apte dictionaries.
