From the Windows Start button, navigate to Baraha x.0 (depending on the version you have). And then to BarahaDirect. Click on it. You won't see anything popping up, but on the bottom right hand panel, you will see a small icon in your taskbar which may say "EN" or "Sa" or "KN" .. Right click on that, go to Language-> Sanskrit-> Unicode. Then it will change to "Sa Uni" Now you can type in most applications (e.g., email, chat window, etc.) using transliteration. After right-clicking etc. for the first time, you can use the F11 key as a shortcut to toggle between English and Devanagari. To close barahadirect, right click on the icon and click Exit.
