*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job Title: Java Developer w/Crystal Reports Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of MI The Administrative Systems Section (AS), including the Asset Management Unit, does not have a senior programmer analyst to maintain or further enhance two, business critical systems for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). These applications include the Ride Quality Forecasting System (RQFS) and Pavement Historical Database (PHD). Required skills include JAVA/J2EE development using the STRUTS Framework, Websphere Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and ORACLE technologies. Additional requirements include a history of working directly with system users and conducting basic database modifications. At MDOT, the RQFS and PHD applications require dedicated programmer-analyst support. The minimum resource requirements to meet the demands of system maintenance activity with limited enhancement potential, includes a full time resource. The Asset Management Unit (AMU) does not have a programmer-analyst to support these two major applications needed to manage Public Transportation and Ride Quality Forecasting at MDOT. These are web-based applications using the Struts framework. These systems are considered critical to MDOT business and support the allocation of funding to Transit Agencies state wide. The other system contributes to planning road projects that will ensure safe travel for the citizens of Michigan. The candidate must meet the basic qualifications of 8 or more years of generic IT experience as defined for a Sr Programmer-Analyst. In addition, specific skills required for this position are listed below. Each senior candidate will score between 1 and the maximum possible, for each category.
