I do have an opening for a Production Support Java Developer in McLean VA. The job description is below. Needs to have VERY Strong communication skills as this position will be providing L3 support to the customer. All communication is done via email and phone. Must have strong Java, SQL and Unix troubleshooting skills. Also, experience with Java development is desirable. Sharepoint experience is a major added bonus (not development) i.e. using Sharepoint as a collaborative tool and being able to design a documents, etc. 2 year project. Rate is up to $58/hr. c2c. H1 candidates are fine, but an in-person interview is required. If your candidate isn't interested in this position please send me their resume anyway. *Developers will be responsible for the installation, upgrade support, technical consulting and product development/evaluation in a particular technical discipline, or in direct support of assigned business area. * * - Role Involves application development, prototyping, modeling and high level technical consulting - Role Involves Execution of DCU process, execution and methodology - Role Involves Execution of Code level research requested by users and management. - Strong reporting and communication skills are a must. In addition to coding execution detailed logs, reports and data must be stored and analyzed and communicated in various reporting mediums. - SharePoint proficiency required - Role requires execute of code break fixes and enhancements as requested. - Responsible for one or more technical aspects of development.
