Experience in designing ETL (informatica) processes for data warehouses and data marts. Expertise in dimensional modeling; working knowledge of the Teradata or IBM Financial Services Logical Data Models must to have. Strong ANSI SQL skills are required for this position. MUST HAVE: Informatica * 6 yrs + 3NF (3rd Normal Form) * 2 yrs + ETL Development experience * 5 yrs Documentation * 6 yrs Oracle * 5 yrs Lead experience * 4 yrs Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL processes * 5+ Yrs Informatica V8 or V9 * 5 yrs SQL * 6 yrs+ Strong understanding (and prior use of) dimensional database design (Kimball Methodology) * 6 yrs NICE TO HAVE: FSLDM Banking/Financial Industry Information Analyzer v8.x Quality Stage Responsibilties: ETL Informatica Developer will: Performs ETL design and development of a complex nature. Works with the US datawarehouse designers to develop and implement ETL solutions. The Software Developer will be part of a team responsible for building out and maintaining the US data warehouse. Design extract, transform and load (ETL) software components. Develop and Test ETL software using SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, Document software and operational procedures. Work independently with little direct supervision in the development of ETL. Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions. Excellent analytical skills. Must be completely self-sufficient with IBM Informatica - version 8 enterprise edition, and have strong understanding of dimensional database design. (Kimball methodology). Must be a very clear and effective communicator.
