This position should be on the East Coast - Strong Program and Project
Management Skills are needed for this position. Must be able to provide best
practices and process improvement for this team. We need a resource that
works well in complex environment. Would like a PMP . But looking for the

SUMMARY
Project Manager - Senior PMP
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in implementation and/or conversion projects. Interface with
management, training and documentation with the primary responsibility to
support the customers. Manage all aspects of in the installation process
through project management. 10+ years experience in the development and/or
implementation of complex business oriented computer systems. Comprehensive
experience with on-line processing systems. Supervisory skills and previous
experience mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to
interface at all personnel levels, both written and verbal. Must be a
self-starter. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability
to choose priorities required. Project Manager Certification required.

This intent of this program is to not only successfully implement product
changes for 2010, but also to provide WellPoint with greater visibility into
the planning process and current status of the activities necessary for
successful execution of annual Medicare Supplement product changes. Planning
activities will include, but are not limited to, the following areas: East
Region, Central Region, West Region, Customer Service, Underwriting,
Enrollment & Billing, Fulfillment, Inquiry Tracking, Claims, Finance,
Reporting, IT, External Vendors, Sales and Marketing. The scope of work will
include providing leadership support for the four workstreams that are
currently being led by the Med Supp product managers: -Product Development
and Marketing - Plan Build and IT - Best Practices and Standardization -
Rate Filings and Contracts workstream
