We'll know more on Monday but there are 4 positions ranging between 40 to 20 hours a week. Client will accept resumes until 2/5 HP UNIVERSAL CONFIGUTURATION MANAGEMENT DATABASE (UCMDB), HP SERVICE MANAGER (SM) AND HP ASSET MANAGER (AM) INTEGRATOR Summary: The State is implementing four (4) related products: 1) HP's Service Manager Ver. 7.1x (SM) 2) HP's Universal Configuration Management Database version 8.1 (UCMDB) 3) HP Asset Manager V5.x (AM) 4) HP Discovery and Dependency Mapping Inventory (DDM-i). Integrations between these products are needed. The expected integrations are, but are not limited to: - Linking UCMDB with Service Manager using HP provided tools. This would include, but are not limited to: - Populating and maintaining Service Manager's CMDB with accurate data from UCMDB. - Setting actions to occur in Service Manager when differences are found between UCMDB and Service Manager CMDB (such as creating a change ticket). - Configuring Service Manager to access UCMDB via web services when users wish to view UCMDB data from within Service Manager. - Configure UCMDB to federate with Service Manager to show Incident and other tickets as Configuration Items (CI's) within the UCDMB. - Linking Asset Manager and UCMDB to populate asset information into UCDMB. - Possible other links between Asset Manager, Service Manager and UCMDB. The Consultant shall: - Advise The State on the options and best practices for setting up integrations between these products, as well as lead The State through exercises to determine what options are best for them. - Create an Implementation Plan and Test Plan. - Implement, test, and debug the links as defined in the Implementation Plan - Document the links and train State staff to debug and maintain them. -State staff needs to be trained on the end solution and how to maintain it, but most of the work is to e completed by the Consultant. The Consultant shall complete the integrations themselves with State staff participating. Qualifications: (a) Two to three (2-3) years of implementation and administration experience with HP Universal Configuration Management Database (UCMDB) and HP Service Manager (SM) as the primary implementer. (b) At least two (2) successful and complete implementations of integrating Service Manager 7.1x with UCMDB by utilizing HP's Service Manager Integration package for UCMDB's version 7.52 or higher. These implementations must be in real-world customer environments and the Consultant must have been the primary technical implementer. (c) Consultant must show real-world experience and expert knowledge of tailoring and debugging the integration between Service Manager and UCMDB. The experience should include, but not be limited to: - Adding or editing reconciliation rules to define how the system should determine if incoming CI's from UCDMB match existing Service Manager CI records. - Adding or editing Discovery Event Manager (DEM) rules to define what the system will do when CI attribute values from UCMDB do not match those in Service Manager. - Creating new CI Types and CI attributes including the needed tailoring of the Service Manager / UCDMB integrations to support the changes. - Modified the mappings of fields from UCMDB CI types to Service Manager CI types. Each of these types of tailoring must have been completed by the Consultant in at least two (2) real-world customer implementations. Consultant must be able to show their expertise in each of these types of tailoring during a phone interview, at which time they would need to answer questions about how the work was done, what the tailoring options were, and any real-world experiences they have had with each type of discovery. (d) At least two (2) successful and complete implementations of linking Asset Manager with UCMDB so Asset Manager information populates and maintains CI's in UCMDB. These implementations must be in real-world customer environments. Consultant must have been the primary technical lead for each implementation. (e) Consultant must have strong communication skills, be efficient in completing their work, must consistently provide high quality work, and must work well with others. These qualities will be asked about during each reference call. Each reference must give positive affirmation that the Consultant consistently exhibited these qualities during their engagement with the customer, and each reference must state the Consultant is welcome to work with the customer again.
