OBIEE Reporting Developer Location: Boston, MA 02108 Duration: 4+ months (possible extension) The senior reporting developer is responsible for the design and implementation of reports utilizing various tools and technologies. The senior report developer will work with technical and business leads to define the report contents and visual design. The senior report developer will be responsible for report implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. The senior report developer will have expertise in advanced reporting utilizing GIS and mapping services integrated with Business intelligence tools. The senior report developer will utilize Oracle OBIEE development technologies and other technical tools for agency reporting purposes. Duties include: develop reports and cubes according to analyst-defined specifications; assume independent responsibility for specific subject area within the reporting and analysis arena; provide expertise regarding technologies developed within the warehouse framework; participate in technical reviews; work the architect and development lead to improve performance and extend reporting functionality; create and maintain reporting documentation and artifacts. Experience Required: · At least 5 years designing and developing reports as part of large scale business intelligence solutions · Specialized experience in the design and implementation of BI related technologies, with a high degree of maturity in developing advanced reporting capabilities from a variety of sources. · At least 2 years experience in implementing web based BI solutions integrating with map based GIS services · Experience with ESRI GIS technologies a plus · At least 3 years experience in implementing web based BI solutions for internet, extranet and intranet · At least 3 years experience implementing the above components leveraging Oracle reporting tools and technologies, including OBIEE, Oracle BPM, Web Center · Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting). · Experience with Oracle Hyperion a plus · Experience in both Linux and windows environment · Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client organization · State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively · Ability to perform related duties, as required.
