The candidate assessment must also include a migration plan for relocating the existing system to another data center. The candidate will also need to define an operational plan for maintaining the system at the new data center. The candidate will need to able to work with external technical resources who maintain the existing system, as well as, DOH IT staff and other contractors to complete the above task. Will be expected to review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, performance, quality, and operations requirements. Need technical ability to communicate with system engineers in creating comprehensive assessment and recommendations, producing technical road maps with requirements and design constraints; to establish and maintain process methodologies and improvements. The ideal candidate should be able to provide recommendations and advice for the DOH IT management to determine whether it is necessary to rebuild the hardware systems, install the required software, and configure the applications to meet the clients and user needs. The candidate may also be requested to oversee the implementation of the migration plan and to successfully migrate this system to DOH.
