Job Description & Required skills:
The Developer - Quality Assurance Configuration Management is responsible for
configuring, loading, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex virtual and
physical hardware environments used by the QA teams.
Specifically, the incumbent will develop maven and ant scripts to
improve/automate build process utilizing CruiseControl. Develop/maintain make
scripts to run C\C++ builds. Run and deploy builds for multiple applications.
Maintain SVN repositories, and assist developers in the resolution of issues
related to the utilization of development tools such as Eclipse. Work with
development teams to coordinate creation of modules/branches/code commits, and
all other work related to the maintenance of repositories. Create and maintain
wiki pages for process documentation. Assist QA and development teams in the
installation and maintenance of applications in the integration and QA
environments. Work with network and security teams to resolve networking
issues. Work with deployment teams to organized applications deployment. Write
release notes.
Duties include:
- For all environments: Deploy and configure new releases. Assist with
increased number of build requests and packaging issues. Package configuration
changes for Webapps. Sanity tests.
- Maintenance of 3rd party applications across environments: Envinsa, EZGeo
Taxation, UTSart VoiceMail, Autonomy CMS, MailVision CMS
- Assist development teams and QA with: Requests to debug application errors.
Requests to start/stop applications. Hardware, networking, and databases
problems.
- Review Emails, RHOBs, and environment related WIKI pages
- Provide off-hours support for offshore teams and critical project activities
- Update current architecture diagrams for all environments

Weblogic.
- Good multitasking ability and performance under pressure with aggressive
deadlines and high visibility
