Java background is must with Maven. Location: West Des Moines, IA Experience level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Primary function is Build Engineer Must Have: Excellent communication skills. Verbal and Written. Candidate must be able to communicate well and be understood in person and on the telephone. Candidate will communicate directly with individuals and small groups. Current, or recent, experience as a J2EE developer. (5 years) . Ability to successfully interact across multiple levels of an organization. Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment. . Solid understanding of the "build & deploy" process and has some direct experience working as part of a build team. (2+ years) . Experience with source code revision tools (Subversion) (2 Years) and Build creation tools (Maven) (1 year) . Experience with Branching and Merging in a multi-project environment. Experience working directly with multiple Developer teams and engaging with them to help control and monitor their activities. Preferred Skills Experience with Subversion; Multi-project; multi-branch environment. Significant experience working with MAVEN. Understanding of how to make MAVEN work in a dynamic, multi-project environment. Must have experience with ANT. Helpful to have some experience with PYTHON (but not required) Experience with the currently popular, open source, Java development tools.
