Position: *Senior Systems Developer – C# Contract*

Location: *Louisville, Kentucky*

Duration: *6 Months*







*Job Summary:*

This position will be responsible for developing system specifications and
programming technical solutions for complex business problems, in accordance
with established company guidelines and standards, in order to promote
operational efficiency and facilitate management decision-making.



The contractor will work on the Electronic Bill Payment Presentment (EBPP)
system.





*Essential Functions:           *

•          Develop detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide
for system/program development.

•          Code, test, and document new application programs, and enhance
existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue
to meet user needs.

•          Extend existing applications through enhancements and upgrades to
ensure systems continue to meet company requirements.

•          Perform peer review of application code written by other members
of the Software Development staff.

•          Assist in estimating time required to complete projects.

•          Other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*

•          4-year degree in Computer Science, with 5-7 years application
programming experience in an enterprise-wide networked computer environment,
or   comparable work experience in a computer applications development
environment, or equivalent combination of work and experience.

•          A broad background in business functions, as well as a good
understanding of computer systems and operations.

•          Experience in designing, building, and implementing large-scale
enterprise applications is essential.

•          Microsoft Dot Net experience is required.

•          Open Source experience required.

•          Ruby on Rails expertise required.

•          Java, EJB, or J2EE development experience.

•          Experience with JBOSS, Tomcat, RDBMSs, UNIX and server-side API
development is a plus.

•          Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

•          Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

•          Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to
present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport,
persuades others, and gains understanding.





Position: *IT Infrastructure Analyst*

Location: *Stamford, CT*

Duration: *6 Months*







The position's role is to set up and maintain server, end user PC and
network device configurations. The position will also provide end user
support to ensure the company’s IT Infrastructure resources are available
and effectively utilized by business users. This is expected to be a 6-month
contract position.



We are looking for a motivated, energetic and hard-working technology
professional with good communication skills, a strong customer service
orientation to work with users and the ability to juggle competing
priorities. The position will report to the Vice President of Information
Systems & Technology and will help ensure the throughput, speed, accuracy,
availability, and reliability all IT Infrastructure Architecture components
including Wide and Local area networks, desktops, servers, email, phone
systems, etc.



The ideal candidate for this position will have 2 – 4 years of experience in
a wide range of infrastructure implementation and operation. Intelligence,
curiosity and broad technology skills and experience are more important than
deep, esoteric knowledge in specific fields.



*Specific technical knowledge and experience that is required:*

•          Desktop setup and support for Windows 7/XP environments,

•          Server setup and support for Windows 2003/2008 and VMware
environments,

•          Ability to support Microsoft Office, Outlook and other common
desktop applications,

•          Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory (creating and
managing OU objects),

•          Experience working with Exchange Server 2003,

•          Experience Implementing Microsoft Security and authentication.



*Optional skills which are preferred:*

•          Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, WINS and
other common Server services,

•          Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting network devices,

•          Knowledge of backup software,

•          Knowledge of maintenance of Endpoint protection software,

•          Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server administration



Although the primary location is our Stamford headquarters, there could be
occasional need to work at our Astoria and Brooklyn facilities in New York.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 8 am to 5 pm. Some
special infrastructure projects and support could be required during nights
and weekends.
