Title: SAP MM Functional Location : Indiana Duration : 3 Months Responsible for assisting with project assignments to design, configure, and maintain SAP Materials Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Production Planning modules. Customizes and configures software to allow the integration. Test ERP configuration to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Needs to be familiar with a variety of the SAP Systems concepts, practices, and procedures. Perform a variety of tasks independently. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Works well with a small amount of supervision from the Customer Management Team. 2. Participates in identifying information problems and defining solutions for approval. 3. Communicates with Customer Team to negotiate general approaches and program requirements in developing system specifications. 4. Designs the system by preparing the flow diagrams, input formats, file layouts, calculations and output formats for consensus agreement with users. 5. Modifies, tests, debugs, and documents changes to configuration. 6. Is well versed on the complexity and integration points for the MM/IM/WM/PP components. 7. Works closely with the other members of the IT organization. Requirements, Skills and Abilities: 1. Good organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, and be self motivated. 2. Excellent communications skills required to interact with both IT resources as well as users. The ability to give clear verbal and written information geared to specific audiences. 3. Will act as a liaison between the business and IT to define, design, and implement SAP solutions. 4. Must have the ability to absorb information quickly and make decisions as to how to proceed with each issue based on its own merit. 5. Must have good analytical and problem solving abilities. 6. Demonstrate design and configuration proficiency in SAP MM/IM/WM/PP with knowledge of Vendor and Material Masters, Org Structure Elements (such as company codes, purchasing organizations, storage locations, warehouses, etc), Purchasing Documents (scheduling agreements, purchase orders, consignment, and subcontracting), Batch Management, Inventory Management (goods movements, goods receipt, goods issue, physical inventory and cycle counting, reservations, and stock transfers), Inbound Deliveries, Handling Unit Management, Storage Unit Management, Shelf-Life Functionality, Warehouse Movements, Transfer Requirements, Transfer Orders, Internal Stock Transfers, Picking Strategies, Putaway Strategies, Bills of Materials, Work Centers, Routings, SOP, DRP, Production Planning, MRP, Shop Floor Control, Capacity Planning, KANBAN, and Repetitive Manufacturing. 7. Understand the end to end process of procurement to payment. 8. Understand the end to end process of plan to produce. 9. Knowledge of, and experience with, SAP IDOC structures, ABAP fundamentals, and SAP files structures. 10. Experience in Automotive Supplier EDI data exchange (supplier releases). 11.
