Title: Applications Architect
Role Summary/Purpose:
In this role you will be involved with long-term planning, manage
complex issues within areas of expertise, and contribute to the overall
business strategy
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as technical leader for ICAM program, focused on J2EE, SOA &
Enterprise Application Integration technology engage global teams and
experts to create and propose technology designs, standards, and
solutions with high impact to business and/or its customers
Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors and peers
such as the Enterprise Architecture team and TSGTeach and mentor others
to develop their technical expertise Develop new computing concepts into
innovative solutions to complex architecture and operations business
challenges Plan and manage technical architecture and operations
projects and ensure business deliverables are committed, communicated
clearly and delivered on time Participate in the long-term strategies
and planning for technical architecture and operations Provide
directives and leadership for project teams in analyzing and resolving
computing infrastructure challenges Create and frequently communicate
the business's computing infrastructure vision to ensure all
architecture and operations activities directly or indirectly support
that vision Maintain and apply current knowledge of information
technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help
determine how they can be used to add value to the business Advise
project teams on technology implementations, lead strategic direction
for CSAbility to lead New Technology Introduction (NTI) initiatives with
the Technical Services Group (TSG) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) groups.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-At least 8 years of experience in the implementation of information
technology to address business needs
-At least 3 years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture projects
-At least 3 years in leadership positions within information technology
projects, including a variety of -hardware and software disciplines
-Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle, Informatica, Webmethods
technologies, Oracle ERP / e- BIZ suite.
Job Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad
Experience - 7-15 yrs
