We have the following Remedy needs,
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Remedy 7.6.0.3 implementation
BMC/Remedy Architect/System Administrator
Assist the UM Windows Infrastructure team with the following activities:
Implement a QA environment with multiple AR servers and multiple
mid-tier servers on a Windows VM platform. Install, configure, and test the
environment to insure effective load balancing and optimal performance.
Test and debug Cosign Single Sign-On integration. UM uses CoSign, an
open source SSO web authentication system. CoSign is part of the National
Science Foundation Middleware Initiative (NMI). To support the use of
CoSign, UM uses IIS in conjunction with Tomcat.
Evaluate Tomcat configuration and recommend optimum settings.
Provide end to end performance tuning through the mid-tier,
application layer and database
Document System issues and work with BMC Support to resolve open
cases.
Environment information:
All BMC software is from preconfigured installer at v7.6.03.
AR Server on virtual machine under VMware VSphere (v4.x) running
Windows 2008 R2 (64bit)
MidTier server on virtual machine under VMware VSphere (v4.x) running
Windows 2008 R2 (64bit)
Database on SQL Server 2008 running on physical Microsoft Failover
Cluster 2008 (64 bit operating systems)
Required Skills
Experience with IIS and Tomcat
Environment: BMC v 7.6.03
AR and Midtier servers running on Windows 2008 R2 (64 bit)
DB SQL Server 2008
Experience with multiple approaches to managing load across multiple
servers.
