*Job Title : Business Objects Administrator Location : San Jose, CA Duration : 6+ months Rate : Market* BO system admin 7 years of experience Setting up BO Know BO environment and tools Security what changes are being made have a run away environment need to secure the environment Business Objects (BO)experience: work on BO applications, interacting with offshore teams, implementing Star Schema designs, and handling performance tunings for Informatica Mappings. Business Objects (BO) Administration experience - involved with setting up users, resolving user and production issues, granting access,installation/configuration and load balancing, upgrading BO applications from older versions, migrating from legacy to new applications, data architectures and monitoring sessions. Experienced in working with BO from v 5.1 to XI R2 (SP2/SP4/SP5). Good communication skills. Role: Management of open Business Objects Enterprise support tickets. Defining the standards for packaging of Crystal Reports Patches Installing and configuration of BOE XI Servers. Tracking of Critical Business Objects Enterprise patches. Developer and other support personnel training. Architecture help with Software implementation. Troubleshooting expertise. Capacity and Stability reporting and design specific to Business Objects Enterprise servers and services. Dealing with Production Support Issues and providing support on weekends. Secondary Responsibilities: Capacity planning and projections for a large / high capacity reporting environment. Participate in performance analysis and tuning projects of the reporting infrastructure with the associated applications. Mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership to large-scale projects.
