*Position: .Net developer, Location : Grand Rapids, MI Length : Long Term* *Job Description* We are currently seeking a self-motivated and deeply experienced Senior Software Engineer to work on a public facing, high volume site and associated management systems. This individual will be a thought leader responsible for the full life cycle of software development for our product using Windows-based technologies including VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, AJAX, IIS, WCF, JSONP, XML/Soap and SQL Server 2008. *Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* - Participate as a leader in the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of an enterprise level application including practices covering: - Technical specification - Development - Testing and QA - Defect tracking - Code and architecture documentation - Version management - Product build and deployment - Develop product increments including: - Write technical specifications for software upgrades - Write well-structured and performance-optimized code - Create and maintain up to date code documentation - Create testing/QA plans and work with QA team to ensure adequate testing of code prior to elevation to production - Participate in the design and maintenance of the product architecture - Manage and mentor junior developers in development methodologies and coding languages, perform code reviews - Deliver well-documented and reliable software modules on time *Experience, Skills & Education* - At least eight years experience in Web Development using core UI technologies - Expert-level understanding of the JavaScript programming language, related optimization techniques, and design patterns. - Expertise in data exchange methods using XML and JSON in JavaScript. - Expertise in working with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery. - Expertise in creating dynamic JavaScript applications that use server side technologies. - Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web 2.0 technologies (Ajax/JavaScript, DHTML, JSON / XML & web services APIs); - Specifically: ยท Familiarity with Ext JS and object oriented JavaScript is a strong plus: Cross-browser development (IE 6/7/8, Firefox) using JavaScript, XHTML, XSL, CSS, and XML; - Understanding of SDLC best practices backed by work experience - Prefer candidates with SDLC experience in: - Scrum and other agile development approaches - Automated unit testing - Strong verbal and written communications skills required -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
