3 month+ contract – max all inclusive rate of $45/hr. Buffalo, NY AFS a plus, not required. Bachelor's degree. 3 yrs exp in technology/system analysis/operational support environment. Good analytical skills; ability to understand basic development process/technical concepts. Effectively use word processing/spreadsheet applications. Familiar w/ how supported application(s) are used by client. Participate in gathering/analyzing information for defining functional requirements/functional designs/development/implementation of final project. Perform routine analysis/research in support of business goals/strategies. Implement modifications to solve routine problems. Assist in addressing problems/issues of small scope. Analyze information/determines feasible solutions/make recommendations. Assist in converting business requirements into functional specs/functional designs on small scope assignments. Participate in development of project assessment/plans, including activities to be performed/estimated timeframes/effort. Develop detailed test plan/scripts; perform testing for routine processes to ensure proper system functionality. Provide consultation services relating to the basic functions of supported mainframe/distributed applications, including review of system capabilities/operational procedures/forms/marketing materials/cost analysis. Good oral/written communication skills. Detail orientated; self-motivated; shows initiative to learn new skills.
