*Job Title : Java Developer (Swing Preferred) Location : Nashville, TN Duration : 6 + Months Rate : $50/Hr* This individual will be responsible for : * Collaborate on and execute development of architectural patterns and practices. * Participate in the complete software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through production support. * Review designs/code as needed. * Coach and mentor other team members (regardless of role * developer, tester, or product manager) on appropriate use of technology to address customer and business needs. * Develop and evolve practices for development (e.g., unit test strategies, build and deployment) * As needed, evaluate new technologies and develop Proof of Concepts. * Other duties as required to support and meet the needs of the corporation. We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of: Minimum of 5years of commercial product development experience using core Java. * Solid background in OO design and programming. * Knowledge of modern software engineering practices. Self-Motivated, excellent logic skills, ability to prioritize, and be well organized. * Good interpersonal, communications skills and ability to work independently. * Strong analytical skills and proficient technical writing. Preferred: Swing, JSF, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Web Services, SOAP, JUnit, JQUERY, JSON, Apache Tomcat. Experience in the AS/400 computing environment.
