*Position : *SOA Data Architect* * *Location : *Brooklyn , NY** *Duration :* 18 Months The estimated start date of any contract resulting from this solicitation is December 1, 2011. The contract will extend for approximately 18 Months. The estimated termination date is May 31, 2013 *1. Job Overview :* The architect will be part of the shared implementation team responsible for all aspects of the SOA architecture. The Data Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: · Lead Canonical Message Model strategy · Lead ESB to data core integration strategy · Lead the development of data-related artifacts supporting the development & versioning of service contracts & semantic models · Conducting interface requirements analysis of current NYCDOE business applications · Develop data architectures & schema design in support of technical specification development · Recommending the best practices around data transformations to support the data movement · Coordinate with the project's team & others to ensure that data standards & models align with the overall enterprise architecture & applicable standards *2.
