Location: Pontiac, MI Duration: 12+ Months Rate: DOE Description: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) has responsibility for establishing and maintaining an information risk management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating and reporting on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with and supports the risk posture of the enterprise. The CISO position requires a visionary leader with strong skills in business management and a working knowledge of information security technologies. The CISO will proactively work with business units to implement practices that meet defined policies and standards for information security. Will also oversee a variety of IT-related risk management activities. Requirements/Qualifications: . Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to develop and guide information security team members and IT operations personnel. . Experience developing information security policies and procedures and successfully executing programs that meet objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment. . Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. . Strong project management skills and experience in creating and managing project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation. . Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans. . A minimum of seven years of IT experience, with five years in an information security role and at least two years in an oversight capacity (supervision or management). . Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other similar credentials, is desired, not required.
