*Title: **Business Process Analyst - ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 6 Months +* * * * * *Responsibilities:*** • Initial review of all current projects, processes, available documentation; reference guides, and previously written high level requirements. • Analysis of existing documentation for New Business Process. • Conduct JAD sessions with all the stake holders for the New Business Process to solicit their current business procedures, business requirements and reporting needs, and to ascertain what their 'To Be' vision of the process going forward will be. • Identify and articulate customer issues and translate them into business requirements. • Develop in-depth knowledge of the customers operations and assigned functional areas. • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in existing systems. • Develop new or improved processes based on findings and analysis. Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood. • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to various levels of information consumers. • Develop plans, budgets and timeframes for process changes in order to support company objectives. *Requirements:*** • 5+ years Business Process Analyst work experience • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling • Must have experience coordinating business users and technical staff to help analyze and define future needs and operations based upon use case and analysis of alternatives • In-depth knowledge of business process design and re-engineering • Strong experience in leading and conducting requirements gathering sessions • Ability to review and write technical documents • Must have excellent knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean processes • Knowledgeable about ITIL preferred • Experience participating in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. • Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products as required. • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it. • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. • Strong experience with any specific tools or specific application/s ??? • Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio • Strong customer service orientation. *Deliverables:*** • Develops management presentations. • Develops high level business flow. • Develops detail business function flow. • Develops business function descriptions. • Develops SOP's for each business function. • Develop business forms.
