If you are applying for this role you must be fully hands on, passionate about technology. You must have used either Java or C# (WPF/WinForm) during last 5+ years extensively. The successful candidate must be passionate about unit testing and agile development process. The candidate must have a lot of energy and be an excellent communicator. He/she will be tested in the following subjects: • Java or C# WinForm/WPF • Data Structures • Object Oriented Analysis and Design • Messaging (Tibco, MQ, or something else) • SQL The person in this role will work within Equities Trading technology group developing trading applications responsible for firm-wide equity option trading. The person in this role will have the following responsibilities: • Develop trading systems • Work with Operate to ensure production stability and resiliency of the product • Employ best software development lifecycle practices (agile, continuous integration, automated testing, etc.) • Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure test automation and overall quality of the product. • Collaborate with various technology teams, such as electronic execution, architecture, market data services, etc. This role interfaces with various local and remote technology teams. It requires an individual that is comfortable with various aspects of technology (i.e. Architecture, Infrastructure, Database, and Software development). *Qualifications: * • B.S. in CS, EE, Math, Physics or other technical major • Object Oriented Analysis and Design • Java server side or C# GUI development • modern messaging architectures • At least 5 years experience of working in application development • Commitment and drive • Good communication skills *Desirable:* Equities or Equities Derivatives Experience, Front Office development experience *Additional Skills:* Mid/Senior level application developer who is C# GUI (WinForms/WPF) expert or Server side Core Java expert.
