This role will establish new databases in a variety of database technologies, monitor performance and optimize existing databases, perform database backups and restores, and ensure that all supported databases are maintained in accordance with best practice and security guidelines. * *Job Responsibilities:The successful candidate for this position is expected to perform the following job responsibilities:Respond to support requests including database access, database updates, and database performance optimization. Install and configure database software.Create, schedule and test database backup, restore, monitoring, maintenance and reports.Create new instances, databases and schemas.Create and maintain database auditing, alerting and management reporting.* *Skills / Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a good combination of the following skills:Experience in building and maintaining complex database systems in a variety of technologies.
