Role- Oracle DBA positions
*Location*: Corning , NY
*Duration: * 6+ months
· Hosting environments include Linux and Windows
· Excellent working knowledge of Linux Redhat
· Excellent working knowledge of Window 2003 application servers.
· Significant experience and knowledge of Oracle database
administration.
· Experience in supporting databases associated with enterprise ERP
systems (PeopleSoft and SAP) and IMS Systems (CAMStar, etc)
Some specific Requirements: (for screening purposes)
· Database replication
· Database security
· Performance tuning and troubleshooting skills in a heterogeneous
environment - a must.
· Good working knowledge of SQL Server
· High Availability environments (clustering, standby, etc).
· Expertise in backup/recovery
· RAC, CRS/ASM
