The role assists the Product Owner and ScrumMaster by ensuring test activities are planned for and appropriately represented in the definition of done. The agile tester is co-located and embedded within the team and is the primary author of acceptance test criteria (ATDD criteria: given, when, then.) The Agile tester also plays a contributing role is story card grooming. Communication and organization are imperative competencies for this role.
