This is my direct client opening for .net developer- Durham, NC. This is a 6+ contract position. The Hourly rate is $45/hr. Summary The Software Engineer/Developer is a technical contributor position in PASView team to support Fidelity's Portfolio Advisory Services (PAS), and their technology initiatives. Primary Responsibilities * Review new requirements for applications and work with business users to clarify and finalize them * Assist in creation of technical design documentation (TSD). * Develop, test code as per design document. * Work across peer group to resolve technical / design issues. * Trouble shoot production issues, fix production defects and assist production support staff in maintaining current application in production. * Perform release management responsibility on need basis. Education and Experience: College Degree preferred Skills and Knowledge: * 3-4 years of solid object-oriented design and development experience. * Experience in a diverse set of distributed / web based application development and middleware technologies such as .Net, C#, Oracle, Web Services, XML, VSS, SQL, HTML * Strong communication and analytic skills * Strong understanding of business context and competitive environment * Results oriented and excellent organizational skills * FSDM project life-cycle methodology experience. * Ability and flexibility to adapt to new and changing technologies. * Ability to work across peer group on resolving technical / design issues Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.
