Background Information
• The projected start date for this project is no later than August 17, 2009.
• There will be a total of two similar high-availability environments and one
non high-availability environment for application development.
• Application installations for the development environment will be performed
on operating systems hosted on VMWare ESX Server platforms. All other servers
will be physical hardware/server environments.
• The fault tolerant production and validation environments will be using
physical servers except for the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) Server.
• All prerequisite server, operating system, network, database and storage
requirements will be available prior to application installations. In addition,
support resources for these infrastructure components will available if needed.
• The prerequisite Oracle Grid Control/Enterprise Manager application
required for the Oracle SOA Suite Operational Management Plug-ins installations
and configurations will be made available prior to application installations.
Only a single instance of this application installation is required to manage
and support all three environments. However, all applicable application
components for all three environments must be configured.
