Duration: 6+ months Location: Augusta, ME Interview: Phone Screen then face to face The programming tasks are organized to support a stateless web environment. Specifically, programming tasks will involve implementing the web user presentation layer written in MS Studio’s .NET 2008 using Visual Basic, coding the business logic layer, and interfacing with an Oracle database via calls to Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures. Minimum General Experience - One year of development experience using the Visual Studio Microsoft .NET Environment - One year of development experience using Visual Basic - Experience designing and implementing .NET ASP pages - Ability to read and accurately interpret an Entity Relationship Diagram - Experience with HTML - Must be fluent in conversational and written English. Must have the ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a project team - Note: This individual will be programming from a design specification and must be familiar with Object Oriented design principles, preferable having coded in an object oriented environment. Desirable Experience is as follows: 1. Rapid Application Development 2. Proven written and oral communication skills 3. System Implementation activities 4. System Testing Practices 5. System Development and Documentation standards 6. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies 7. All phases of the project development cycle. 8.
