*1 + year * *Rate is 75.00/Hr C2C* Position Summary: Primarily responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and upgrade of a large enterprise network. Interacts with client engineering and business users to configure and implement both wired and wireless networking equipment. Participates in network troubleshooting and repair. 1. Hands on technical experience configuring, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches. 2. Hands on technical experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco IOS and NX-OS. 3. Experience with Cisco Nexus platform of switching products. 4. Hands on technical experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting various routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. 5. Current CCNA or CCNP certification(s) or equivalent experience. 6. Experience with maintaining network infrastructure in a high availability production environment. 7. Thorough understanding of advanced datacenter technologies such as Fabric Path. 8. Experience with WIFI networks in a large multi-location environment. 9. Timely responds to Help Desk Trouble Tickets and handles related issues. 10. Completes work request activity submitted via Service Request System. 11. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network communication issues. 12. In conjunction with Unified Communications team, identifies diagnoses, and resolves VoIP communication issues in conjunction with IP Telephony team. 13. Remotely administers and maintains complex TCP/IP networks using routers and switches. 14. Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to the network infrastructure. 15. Schedules upgrades and collaborates with client network engineering on network optimization. 16. Implements upgrades (IOS upgrades, patches). 17. Maintains familiarity with DHCP and DNS. 18. Maintains and utilizes working knowledge and experience with Cisco Quality of Service (QoS) for wired and wireless data and voice. 19. Performs occasional night/weekend work as required due to production constraints. 20. 7+ years of experience with Enterprise Network infrastructure, including design, implementation, and ongoing management and troubleshooting in a mid to large sized company required. 21. Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and Project required. 22.
