*****MUST BE LOCAL FOR A FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW IN Manhattan***** Description: Senior Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager / Operations Manager Engineer Job Qualifications: Microsoft Certified Professional in either SCCM 2007 or SCCM 2012 (or both) Engineer, maintain and manage the SCCM infrastructure (troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, upgrades) Actively monitor SCCM clients health and perform corrective actions accordingly Actively manage SCCM daily operations (package releases, distribution, reporting) Light training and mentoring of support groups required. Occasional Packaging of applications required. Ensure and maintain acceptable level of package distribution success rates to SCCM clients Analyze engineering requirements for the PC environment and assist in developing appropriate solutions Assist desktop team in troubleshooting PC related issues Provide helpdesk support to clients for SCCM related issues Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services (WSUS, IIS 6.0, DNS/DHCP, WINS, SCCM, SCOM) Working knowledge of Domain/Forest trusts, NTFS/ACL permissions, DNS configuration, Clustering services, SAN storage, Terminal services, TCP/IP protocol services, LDAP, VB Scripting VMWare ESX/GSX knowledge is a plus Experience managing production Windows servers (a minimum of 5 years) used to support multiple mission-critical initiatives. Working knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies such as SQL Server, Exchange, et cetera. Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Software Installer (msi) tools.
