*Job Description:* This position is on the WorldShip QA Manual Test team. The candidate will be participating in functional requirements and application development design meetings, analyzing functional requirements, writing well written, maintainable,test cases that map to functional requirements, and doing test execution activities.This is a very strategic role on one of the company's largest QA teams. The successful candidate will have high visibility within the QA team and will also interact with development and user teams. Additionally, the role involves maintaining,implementing and assisting with establishing the test methods and procedures necessary for verification. *Details of Position:* 7 years of professional QA experience (ISTQB Certified) using test case and defect entry/management tools, specifically Quality Center & MS Office 2010.Knowledge of the software development process and experience on a QA team required. PC expertise with 7 years working experience with Windows XP/7/8. 5+years coding experience is a plus. While this is a manual QA position, providing efficient/semi-automated solutions is required. High severity/quantity defect detection is expected based facilitated by application/functional requirements knowledge. Excellent technical skills; including system development life cycle methodology & testing knowledge. Excellent skills required in the area of application development & testing practices. Excellent analytical capabilities. Ability to analyze business requirements and detailed designs in order to create/execute test cases, log and track defects.
