Duration will be until the end of this year. Rate:50/Hour. This *Sr. Business Analyst* – BW will be responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance, and on-going production support of the SAP BW module and reporting as it relates to Logistics related data. The individual in this role collaborates with internal customers, North American and European Competence Center colleagues, and other key stakeholders to define user requirements, assess available SAP and BW functionality, and develop solution options. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that BW reporting is meeting business needs and supports operational and analytical process requirements for new and existing BW implementations. This role requires the application of process and technical expertise within the logistics data area within BW, including MM, PP, QM, SD, etc. Qualified applicants must be able to clearly communicate SAP BW capabilities to end-users at corporate headquarters, manufacturing sites, and remote sales locations. The ability to effectively collaborate with other team members is essential in this role. * * *Responsibilities:* Responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance, and on-going production support of SAP BW as it relates to Logistics related data, including sources from R/3, APO, and other non SAP external applications. Translate business requirements into deployable system solutions through collaboration with client personnel, internal customers, and other key stakeholders. Customize SAP BW as required to satisfy identified business requirements. This includes development within BW of all back end objects (InfoObject through Multi-Provider), as well as report development via Bex and Web Templates. This position also requires providing all required technical documentation and specifications to support all development efforts. Develop strong business relationships within the business organizations to ensure the successful implementation of integrated solutions to support operational activities. Provide management with timely status reporting of all project efforts, proactively identifying issues and appropriate corrective action to ensure the attainment of project goals. Support the testing and documentation of developed enhancements and customizing changes. * * *Requirements:* Minimum of 3 years direct experience with SAP BW in at least one of the following modules: SD, MM, QM, PP. Direct experience with LO cockpit extraction from SAP R/3.ABAP programming experience is a plus. Experience with production support, including application of support packs, upgrades, and other ongoing maintenance and performance tuning activities.Query creation and maintenance experience using Bex Analyzer.Transport management experience in BW. Functional knowledge of multiple logistics related SAP R/3 modules MM, SD, PP, QM etc a plus. Technical expertise regarding best practices and technologies related to data warehousing functions. Work experience in the consumer products industry is desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams. Familiarity with SAP technical architecture.
