Please make sure your consultant has recent experience with *PL/SQL, ETL,
COBOL Mircofocus and UNIX*.
The main focus of skills in order of importance from top down should be:
· Must have extensive knowledge in *Oracle database
programming*skills with
*Oracle *
* PL/SQL*, *SQL* and *SQL Loader*
· Must have extensive knowledge in advanced Oracle PL/SQL to maintain
existing processes
and create new *ETL* processes.
· Must have extensive Oracle knowledge for *performance tuning*.
· Must have strong knowledge of *UNIX/LINUX shell scripting*
· Must have *Sync Sort* for UNIX/LINUX
· Experience with *Data Warehouse implementations* and *ETL skills*
· Prefer *Autosys* Job Scheduler
· Prefer *Micro Focus Cobol* experience
· Prefer IBM Mainframe JCL/COBOL
· Follow Change Control concepts and policies
· Ability to work with offsite Vendor Technical Support for problem
resolution
· Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both
verbally and in writing
· Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines
with varying degrees of
technical expertise
