*Position: * *Network Engineer * *Location : Southfield, MI Duration : 6-12 Months * *Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face * Job Description: · Configuration, shipping and installation of routers, firewalls and other security devices. Accountable for intermediate level troubleshooting of networking and security related service desk cases. Responsibilities: · Participate and assist with departmental continuous improvement undertakings · Hardware configuration & technical support · Use of good judgment regarding inventory parts usage and formulating the most cost effective solution · Timely completion of reports and other required paperwork · Assist with periodic physical inventory counts · Coordinates activities with service desk or scheduler · Assist with customer equipment deliveries/installations as needed · Performs assigned tasks in an efficient and professional manner while adhering to company policies and procedures Job Requirement · Advanced understanding of networking architecture including LAN?s, WAN?s, Internet Protocols and TCP/IP · Individual must be able to work with a diverse customer base and work a flexible schedule · Excellent written communications skills · Able to work in team environment · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
