*Job Title: QA Test Lead (Must have Epic experience)* *Location: Sacramento, CA* *Duration: 1 Year* *Job Requirements: * The Epic ICD-10 Test Lead will develop the Epic ICD-10 Test Plan in collaboration with the Epic Application teams and relevant departments to include Information Technology, Finance, HIM, Managed Care and Operations. Primary duties will be the development of the overall testing project plan, future state test scripts, coordination of test activities, and executing the test plan and documenting outcomes. The contractor will be working under the supervision of the I.T. Epic Applications Testing Supervisor and Epic Applications Manager. *Requirements include but are not limited to the following: * Development of Epic ICD-10 Test Plan, obtaining input and sign-off from department stakeholders and tracking progress to tasks and milestones. Monitor progress to Test Plan and report on risks and issues, and barriers to successful execution of testing activities for the transition to ICD-10. Establish contact and collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure Test Plan and development and execution of test scenarios are accurately documented and performed by testing staff. Review of future Resolute ICD-9-CM coding and billing processes, analysis of documentation and requirements for ICD-10, and support for creation of payor testing data, scenarios and validation of data. Lead the development of formal test plans and test case design (i.e., creates and executes test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine if the system is performing according to specifications). Track system design issues during the testing process and identify workflow or functionality resolutions. Leads all phases of ICD-10 testing such as unit, functional, integrated, and regression testing. Establishes processes to analyze test results, systematically track project progress, identify and document issues, risks and barriers to success, and communicate issues to the Epic Application Manager and Testing Supervisor. Qualifications: The contractor should have the following experience: Knowledge of testing methodologies, experience testing 5010 or ICD-10 with Epic, business and technical analysis, gap analysis, specification design and interface testing and implementation across a wide array of departmental applications Substantial experience developing and executing test plans and coordinating multi-phased testing activities Build and/or integration and testing experience with Epic application modules, including Resolute, HIM, Bridges and Quantim and Claim Logic systems. Excellent project management skills for the developing of requirements, coordinating resources and meeting critical milestones Knowledge of interface engines, data transmission and transformation in a health care setting is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication skills and extremely detail oriented Excellent analysis, troubleshooting and documentation skills *Thanks* *Mohammed Valli Uddin* *Technical Recruiter * *Next Generation Technologies.
