Overview:

We are looking for an Enterprise Data Architecture position at Philadelphia,
PA.

 Job Description: 

Candidate responsibility is to identification, definition, and creation of
data related artifacts and frameworks associated with architectural
principles, blueprints, standards, guidelines, procedures, patterns,
information as a service, logical and physical information and data models,
reference architectures, interaction diagrams, technical stacks, governance,
and technology obsolesce planning and management. This includes the support
of gathering, storing and delivering data via solid data repository
operations, data storage infrastructure, and core data management
capabilities such as data movement, integration, business intelligence,
master data management, data capacity management, data lifecycle management,
reporting, data security, data quality management, meta-data management,
indexing and searching across structured and unstructured data and
enterprise content and knowledge management. Focus on real-time data
integration, performance enhancement, data movement and data services in the
SOA stack. Data integration includes the definition, and creation of
architecture artifacts associated with reference architectures, blueprints,
patterns, information as a service, physical data and database models,
standards, technical stacks, governance, and technology obsolesce planning
and management.

 

.         Guide the development of enterprise data strategy for event based
data and enterprise business data

.         Develop master data management and business intelligence strategy
for customer, product & location

.         Develop expert knowledge of business and solution domains

.         Design, structure, organization, and maintenance of all data and
related design artifacts 

.         Integrate project-level data models into the enterprise model

.         Develop data management guidelines for enterprise data by reducing
redundancy, enabling accessibility within security boundaries, fostering
corporate understanding of the meaning of the data

.         Be responsible for developing and maintaining standards,
methodologies, tools, governance frameworks and design patterns

.         Assist the data modelers and database architects in data modeling
and database design

.         Develop best practices and guidelines for physical database design

.         Define data services implementation roadmap and deployment and
operational frameworks, ensuring utilization of data services

.         Develop and maintain the vision and roadmap for large scale (e.g.
peta-bytes) data management.

 

 

Qualifications: 

.         Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer
Science Engineering

.         5+ years experience with database architecture design in the
Oracle DB products 

.         Performed the role of an enterprise data architect 

.         Strong skills in project planning, execution strategy, issue
escalation, and project communications as well as client relationship
management. 

.         Demonstrates the ability to status multi-phased, large team,
decentralized team activities 

.         Demonstrates high-level of written and oral communication in the
English language

Preferred: 

.         Demonstrates excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills 

.         Demonstrates poise, confidence and professional maturity to
interface with senior-level executives in a clear and concise manner 

.         Exhibits the ability and tenacity to resolve open issues 

.         Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access,
Project, Visio) 

.         Experience managing in political environments and ability to
interact with executives as well as individual contributors. 

.         Willing to travel 100% and Open to Relocation.
