* Position: Sr. Cognos Consultant* Location Beaverton, OR Duration 10 months Job Description Position Title & Level: Cognos Framework Manager Lead Will this contractor be supporting LBS 2X work: No Describe your Department/Team: The Grand.Slam project involves the implementation of a new order management system to support our digital commerce group at Client. The new order management system will significantly impact the existing DW/BI capabilities we have in place today and this team will be working together to provide an adequate solution to replace and repair portions of the existing DW/BI solution and providing new capabilities as well. Describe what the ETW will be doing in this role: 1.Gather requirements from business analysts and users and translate into Cognos Framework model. 2.Provide guidance on and adhere to best practices in Cognos Framework design and development. 3.Provide performance tuning/optimization of the Framework in coordination with database team. 4.Develop documentation and training materials for each framework developed that can be used for training business users as well as power users. 5.Coordinate development of reports with on-shore and off-shore developers. 6Develop complex reports using Cognos Framework model. Qualifications Skills/Roles required for this position: Must have: 5+ years Exp with Cognos Framework manager 5+ years Exp with report studio 5+ years Exp developing complex reports 5+ years Exp with Oracle / TD strongly preferred. Exp with one or more RDBMS. Exp working with off-shore development team. Nice to have: Retail experience with multi-channel (B&M, Online etc) is preferred. Digital commerce (Sterling) is preferred.
